Ottawa Moving Toward 100% Renewable Energy

The Ottawa Renewable Energy Cooperative in partnership with 1125@Carleton invite you for an evening of possibility about a 100% renewable energy future for Ottawa where we will hear from Mr. Neale F. Lunderville, Interim General Manager of Burlington Electric Department and board member of the Preservation Trust of Vermont, Vermont Long Term Disaster Recovery Group and Champlain College together with Kenneth A. Nolan , Manager of Power Resources, and a member of the Board of Directors of Renewable Energy Vermont and Vermont Electric Power Producers Inc.


Mr. Lunderville and Mr. Nolan will share Burlington, Vermont’s success in transitioning to an energy system that is completely renewable and offer suggestions for Ottawa to do the same.   The policy climate, infrastructure and community conditions supporting their energy transition will be described as well as the risks and mitigation strategies used to achieve their energy independence.


The Ottawa Renewable Energy Cooperative will also share its success to date and its goals to be a major contributor to Ottawa’s energy transition and independence.
